To Google or Not to Google...
In the wonderful (hmm, in-tim-i-da-ting) world of technology, and the super exciting universe of teaching, Google tools has become more relevant. Many Intermediate (4th-6th) classrooms can be found using Google Tools and more specifically Google Classroom. Google classroom allows teachers to ingrate a learning platform that reinforces collaboration, through technology. Teachers can also more easily distribute and grade assignments while going paperless!
In my endeavors to remain teachable and curious I set out to find some Google Tools that make teaching and learning just a little more fun!...
1. Docs Translation: over a hundred different translation options. Very exciting for our English Language Learning students and families.
2. Reference tools: within Google docs we have access to a dictionary, thesaurus and encyclopedia.
3.Shared folders: I can receive, edit, and color code shared folders. I can also share my folders
4.Privacy: Documents can be published publicly or privately.
5. Annotate with footnotes: annotations can footnotes can be added to any document.
6. Google Mobile. We can access our tools from anywhere
